Ep1 – Girls Date Ideas in TORONTO!

I have been wanting to start my own blog for such a long time and finally, I did it! Yay! I have been studying in Toronto for over five years. I love taking pictures and I have collected a list of fun places that I want to share with you guys.

I want to start off with a new series called girls date ideas in Toronto, sharing places that are Instagram worthy and fun to hang out with your friends in Toronto. Today, I went to School Resto and Sugar beach with my co-pilot Roxanne for a short Saturday girls date. Let’s get started!

If you are visiting Toronto and want to try out some cool brunch place, SCHOOL is definitely the one you should go for. They change their brunch menu regularly, but you can always look up on Instagram to see their recent dishes and reviews. SCHOOL is very busy during the weekend so if you want to sit on the patio and avoid the line, I would recommend you guys to come between 9:30 – 11:00 for the best experience. Wait time during the rest of the day is approximately 30 mins to 1 hour.

Starting from drinks, they have pretty cool juicy and awesome coffee. Latte is my all time favorite, if you are more of an adventure type, you may want to try out the daily special juice which comes with a laboratory jar!

I ordered a Crispy Crunchy French Toast and Roxanne had the salmon scramble egg croissant (I forgot the exact name so I made up one*). I tried pancakes and skillet last time I came here and they were really good!!! The crispy french toast was pretty good on its own, but I don’t quite like the strawberry jam…. I am not a big fan of jams so this is probably why I don’t like the strawberry jam. If you like strawberry jam and french toast, definitely get this one!!!!

The salmon scramble egg croissant is also really good, toasted croissant with their secret garlic sauce and smoke salmon is soooo good!

This is such a cute place for girls hang out! The decoration is cute, the dish is creative and yummy, and the staff is super nice too. One thing you might want to keep in mind is that if you want to get great pictures, you probably want to sit on the patio because the restaurant is quite dark on the inside.)

Next stop Sugar Beach!!! We only plan on a half day date so we went to sugar beach after breakfast. The beach was not that busy when we got there. We didn’t want to get too intense with the beach today so we just chilling out there and took some photos. The sugar beach is very famous for its pink umbrella so pink tone outfit will work the best for the photos! I wore a pink top today and it looks super cute on the picture. You can also do activities like kayak, fishing, and yachting at the harbour front which is ten minutes walk from the sugar beach. I will probably write another blog post talking about activities at the beach neighborhood because there are so many fun things happening at the harbour front!

Stay tuned and get inspired. xoxo
